Food Vouchers
If you are homeless, or living on a low income, you may be eligible for food vouchers.
We can issue food vouchers if you live in Sedgemoor and support you to access your local food bank if you live elsewhere in Somerset.
We can share information about community gardens and other sources of help.

Open Mental Health
Open Mental Health is an alliance of local voluntary organisations, the NHS and social care, Somerset County Council, and individuals with lived experience of mental health. Working together their aim is to improve the way people in Somerset receive support with their mental health by providing access to a number of specialist services including NHS support, housing advice, debt and employment advice, volunteering opportunities, community activities, peer support and local exercise groups. Ensuring that people in Somerset get the right support when they need it most.
Open Mental Health hopes the website will provide a platform where people in Somerset can seek advice & find useful information about the services the alliance can offers to support those struggling with their mental health.

Somerset Household Support Fund
Financial support for vulnerable households which are struggling to afford household essentials
The Household Support Fund is designed to provide short-term urgent financial help to Somerset residents who are struggling to afford household essentials such as buying food, paying for energy and water bills and other essential household items such as beds and white goods.

We’re working with Citizens’ Advice to make all their great help available to speakers of other languages. If you’ve lost your job, you’ll find all kinds of help available to sort out your problems and get back into work.
