Welcome Hubs have been established for refugees, asylum seekers & their sponsors across Somerset.
Diversity Voice welcome hubs provide easy access to help and support for local refugees and asylum seekers via a mix of physical, online and mobile Hubs backed by staff and volunteers with a wealth of experience, and supported by translation and interpretation from a bank of interpreters covering over 60 languages.

Our dedicated EAL team works across Somerset in schools and pre-schools to support parents, teaching staff and work with children one to one to improve their bilingual language and build their communication skills and confidence. Also provide interpreting and translation service to Children Social Care.

Our English Club is a fantastic community resource where hundreds of people have found out about UK culture, learned English and found new friendships. We also run a busy social media group for learners, with chat and tips.
