“Neighbourhood English Classes” and In-Company English
English Club – Sedgemoor
Our English Club is a wonderful community resource that has helped hundreds of people learn about UK culture, improve their English skills, and form new friendships.
We organize popular weekly “neighbourhood English classes” that are open to all migrant workers, refugees, and asylum seekers in the Sedgemoor area. Our classes have students from different countries and levels, and are taught by a team of qualified and experienced English as a Foreign Language teachers.
During our classes, we teach students grammar and functional skills related to living and working in the UK, with a particular focus on Somerset.
We also practice the four skills:
- Reading
- Writing
- Listening
- Speaking
In Company English Classes
We can provide tailor-made in-company English courses for your non-native English-speaking workers.
Offering in-company English classes has numerous benefits, including improved communication between staff and management and a workforce that feels more confident and fluent in communicating with each other and management in English, regardless of their nationality.

"I have attended English classes at Westfield Church for some time. It was a very good experience.
The education system is very good, the teachers are wonderful and make you feel at home.
It is also an opportunity to interact with people of other nationalities who are in the same situation as you, when the language is not your first language."
"Thank you so much for lessons. This is very happy place!
