How can our Practitioners support you?

  • They understand challenges faced by refugees and displaced people.
  • Provide compassionate guidance and care.
  • Provision of empathetic and person-centred health and well-being counselling (face-to-face or online)
  • In depth knowledge of local support services.
  • Connect you and your caregivers with essential resources.

We are proud to be affiliated with the Open Mental Health Alliance, allowing us to seamlessly integrate you into a comprehensive network of care.

What is a person-centred recovery plan?

A plan meticulously crafted with you, our service user, ensuring you have specific, measurable and achievable outcomes. We not only monitor, but actively support you in your journey to recovery.

Why is collaboration so important?

It is the cornerstone of our practice. We maintain strong connections with partner agencies and professionals, facilitating multi-agency working within your recovery planning. We also foster peer support groups, skilfully managing the dynamics within these groups to create a nurturing community where you can find understanding and solidarity.

Will you be safe?

Your safety is paramount. We take all necessary measures to safeguard vulnerable adults and children, providing a secure environment where you can focus on your well-being and healing.

How does a session work?

All of our Wellbeing Practitioners are equipped with up-to-date knowledge of common mental health disorders, their symptoms, and the short and long-term effects associated with enduring mental health challenges. During the sessions we empower you with practical tips, tools, and coping skills, drawing from both internal and external resources.

Language proficiency, cross-cultural understanding, and other barriers should never prevent access to mental health and well-being services. We offer guidance and practical assistance to individuals and groups facing such challenges, ensuring that everyone has equitable access to the support they need.

Our commitment to continuous growth and learning is unwavering. Our practitioners regularly attend training sessions and are willing to take on any necessary duties to support your well-being. We also benefit from supervision and mentoring within the Open Mental Health Alliance, ensuring that we provide you with the highest quality care
