I am delighted to inform you that Diversity Voice with Somerset County Council have agreed to increase our initial support for Polish children in schools from 10 to 20 hours free service to cover cohorts in transition between schools.

Congratulations to Dominik

Dominik Stosio joined Diversity Voice in October 2016 as a Bilingual Support Linkworker.

He supports children in schools and preschools with their education, including Somerset Social Care through translation and interpreting.

Important Days to Celebrate

Diversity Voice would like to encourage schools, preschools and other organisations to celebrate events that are important for the communities living in Somerset. Many schools and students are not aware of all festivities, celebrations and events that are observed by their parents and pupils or how important it is for expats to maintain the traditions of their home countries.
