Pandemic Response

Message from our CEO

We hope all of our communities are safe and well.

The links and resources under may help speakers of other languages, and we're here for you if you need us.

We can offer support in any language; please contact us if we can help.

We recognise the particular difficulties faced by migrant communities just now. Being away from family, being disproportionately engaged in low paid work and zero hours contracts and for some, lacking the language skills to navigate changing advice and rules, have all added to the vulnerability of some communities.

Since the start of the pandemic, our staff have worked hard to continue to provide our usual services, whilst working in partnership with other organisations to ensure needs in our neighbourhoods are met. Our team has continued to offer support for those needing help with EUSS applications, and has delivered online language support for EAL children to ensure their progress during school closures. We've been busy with translations related to the pandemic and meeting the needs of those needing welfare and other advice.

We are now offering our full range of services, with virus transmission mitigation measures in place.  Our neighbourhood English courses will be offered on and offline, and our childrens' support workers  are ready to return to schools and pre-schools.   Do get in touch if we can help.

Stay kind, and stay connected.
