Vacancy for Chief Executive Officer

Diversity Voice is looking for a dynamic and experienced CEO to lead this charity through the Roaring Twenties.

You will be the ideal candidate for this position if you:-

  • have a proven track record of leadership, preferably acquired within the charitable, education or advice sector,
  • have excellent interpersonal skills
  • are a quick learner
  • have considerable financial acumen
  • are articulate
  • are committed to the principle of “equality for all”.

We would particularly welcome applications from candidates in the communities that we serve.

Acting as an ambassador, you will be the public face of the charity and will be able to build effective working relationships with stakeholders, staff, volunteers, and service users. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, you will develop the charity’s long term strategy, and be able to condense that strategy into the budgets and business plans. You will ensure that the charity complies with the law and relevant Charity Commission and Government regulation and guidance. You will not only oversee the day to day running of the charity, but also be able to see where the charity should be in 1,3,5 and 10 years time, and be able to put in place the steps to get us there.
