Brief description of Secretary role
• Sending notices of all meetings to members
• Making arrangements for meetings – booking rooms, ensuring access for all attending
• Preparing the agenda in consultation with the Chair and distributing the agenda with any background papers
• Checking that members have carried out tasks agreed at the previous meeting
• Minutes taking

Skills and Qualifications required:
 Good at spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
 Good knowledge of software applications.
 Discretion, good judgment, organisational or management ability

Brief description of Trustee role
• governing the organisation, setting policy, strategy and use of funds.
• general control and management of the administration of a charity
• understand how the charity benefits the public by carrying out its purposes
• comply with charity law requirements and other laws that apply to your charity
